Nadal still kind of looks like a shadow of his former self. I think perhaps he may be playing "smarter" for longevity and saving his body. But shaky I don't think is the right adjective. Maybe shaky for how he plays NOW

Tennis Discussions / Re: Line Judges

I think that the biggest issue would be speed of play and mechanical errors. I've seen matches where Hawkeye couldn't generate a replay and so the original call from the line judge stood. I think by eliminating line judges, it would open up a whole realm of issues regarding accuracy of machine. Maybe for serves only I could see it being a real honest attempt without issues.

Nadal through in straight sets.
Looked a little shaky, but managed to pull it together.
Next up for him is The Fog.
That could be an entertaining match.

So many withdrawals both from MS and WS. I cant blame most of the players who force themselves to play though they know they are injured  and had to withdrawed. First round of Grandslam pay a lot. But it still disturbing.
It is bad but the fact is so many of them showed up unprepared. e.i. Pospisil, who I really like, was cramping and many other players too. That's a fitness issue.

I mean, an old Fed 34yo can play without sweating. Djokovic 28yo, who is not that young any more (I'm talking about tennis age) covers the court and runs around like he is possessed, sliding stretching, you name it  (super prepared). Stanimal, 30yo ... Murray is there too.

I'm really disappointed to be honest with you especially with youngsters. I see nothing.
