Try one-handed backhands when on the run 

  What's funny is that he was at the net and I was like 10 feet behind the baseline and he hit a volley that I barely got to and I hit a one handed backhand right down the line, it was pretty sexy.

But don't be mistaken, it wasn't a traditional one handed backhand where you go from 2 hands to one hand. I was literally running with just one hand on my racquet the whole time 

I found a coach who I like, so I'm just going to ask him to work on my backhand. Maybe at some point I can get a video, but hitting my backhand feels so awkward atm.

This reminded me, I forgot to write about my last tournament 

1st round I won 6-0 6-0, but the kid was sooooooooooooo bad.

2nd round:

I played the kid twice before (first time 1-6 0-6 second time 1-6 6-7). I thought I could challenge him this time because in the last set we played I had figured him out. I started off by winning the first game at 15 and I was on fire. Then, my backhand showed up. I was missing left and right and I was having to run around way too much to avoid hitting my backhand. Needless to say it went downhill from there and I lost 2-6 1-6.

That was a huge blow for my confidence, so now I'm working with a coach and my backhand is getting fixed.

My next tournament is huge (usually around 64 competitors), and I might play a smaller tournament as a lead up. Should be in the next few weeks

Those results I could care less about. Every kid I beat 6-0 6-0 sucks  I gain nothing from those matches.

My mental game and my backhand are horrible...

Fun fact: I have never in my life won a match after being a set down. Never. Keep in mind that I've played for 4 years and I can never find the mentality to win. Whenever a I'm playing someone with a record slightly better than me, I lose. Even though I can beat these kinds of kids, I have a mental block.

Not to mention I can't hit a backhand or decent volleys.

Never have won a match when you lost the first set?  You suck. You are a loser, and you should quit tennis. You're an even worse choker than Ferrer against Nadal. Youngsters these days, so useless
