SWEET pics mt!!   :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:

Now leave the wildlife alone or I am forwarding this thread to OSU's PETA pals.  Picking on poor ole bears who are minding their business out in the woods...you should be ashamed of yerself :thumb-down:
I was at this casino minding my own business, and this guy came up to me and said, "You're gonna have to move, you're blocking a fire exit." As though if there was a fire, I wasn't gonna run. If you're flammible and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit.  - Mitch Hedberg

I had to google PETA and found out that as well as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals it also stands for People Eating Tasty Animals.

That's tough meat  :scared: .

I got to play this morning  :) . First time since Christmas and last time for the old year. I was playing well 6-2, 6-3 and the company was very agreeable. Won all my serves  :)) ! I have to go to California for a meeting on Saturday morning and am hoping that once I'm back from that I can get into a more regular tennis playing schedule. End of year holidays can be disruptive  :mad1:

Tennis last night was a mixed bag. Started fine, 6-3; continued not so fine 3-6; and finished poorly, 1-5. I felt rusty and was not moving well. Serves OK (one df), groundstrokes so-so, and volleys poor.   Still it was good to get out on the court with good company and I am pleased that there are no injury after-effects.
I'm missing my weekly hit with the instructor. He's been getting hip replacement but in any case it is too cold to hit outside anyway :blue: .

Sent a deposit in for Cincy. Starting to think of going there for at least some of the ladies week and commuting back to Columbus for the tennis4you event.  It is nice to be thinking of summer.

I'd like to hibernate until it gets warm again.  :ZZZZZ)

Sounds like you are just a little bit rusty.  It's nothing a little sunshine can't cure.... :)

Have sunshine today, but it's also 8 degrees.  :blue: Can at least think of summer.

We had good social tennis last night: 6-4, 6-3, 4-4. It was the only tennis outing of the whole week.
I can't say I was playing well but at least did not double fault all night. I felt that all the old bad habits were coming back.
Must say that  I and my tennis are both still in the winter doldrums. Things will improve when I can get back to the regular hitting sessions with the instructor in February  :) .

I'm sure it will. At the moment, the outdoor groups do not even bother to call!

Same here in NJ.  It's been really cold.  I can't wait for some nice weather.  I'm hoping tommorrow will be OK.

Ice and light snow here but got to play indoors on dirt for an easy unstresseful match. It was good to hit a tennis ball with friends after all the storm and stress of the AO in recent days and to remind oneself of what one really enjoys about the game.  :))

Get to play again Thursday night, indoor hard, with the lady lawyers.  :scared:

You guys may know more about the material. The stuff is a pretty soft grey clay. Shoe brushes are provided at the exit as it easily transfers to the carpet at home. I wash the soles of my shoes when I get home to finish the job!  It is SLOW! I've not been able to crack the Club website to find out details.

P.S. Note the new signature.  It's built around the fact that the website censor won't let me type mis-hit without the hyphen.
