We had a pretty even match last night. My side came out slightly ahead with 6-3, 5-7, 3-2 but none of us thought we were doing all that well. My serve was OK,even good, but my groundstrokes were awful. General opinion was that we had not been playing enough and all are looking forward to more outside play. Fortunately, the weather looks like providing that this weekend with temperatures up to the 50s.
But the best news came later after I got home. As attentive readers

, even players from the 2008 tennis4you event might remember, I've been bothered by a pulled hamstring this last year. It was really bad for a while and even drove me to physiotherapy. Well, I've been doing the strengthening exercises like the lady said

, but have been bandaging the upper leg up, more as a precaution, when I go onto the court. Well, last night (it had been a week since playing), I forgot to do it and only remembered about it in the shower after I got home. I then realized

that I hadn't felt a thing all night .
Isn't it great the way the tired old body repairs itself!
