Pacer, did you ever read about the personal consultation Sigmund Freud had with the composer Gustav Mahler in Leiden, 1910. Mahler was having problems with his young wife. Fascinating stuff. ......but I digress from tennis.

Mixed doubles last night with the ladies. I started off deplorably. Couldn't serve, literally couldn't make contact with the ball sometimes. I could tell in the warmup that things were not right. Lost my first two serves (double fault included) and the first set 4-6 and was expecting to be banished forever to the outer darkness by my partner

.
However, things got better second set

. Her serve went off a bit and I started to win all of my serve games comfortably. I started to get some rhythm and into it did well putting the first serve into the body of the opponents. I also had some neat almost happenstance volleys. We got that second set 7-5 so all ended well.
