Roche says "NO" to Federer

Holy Crap, that is interesting.  Roche says he does not want to travel...  Looks like Fed will probably be entering the AO with no coach again...

This news is weeks, if not months, old.  Even at the Masters, Roger said that this training session would probably be his last with Tony.

The Aussie press just likes to rehash everything, especially when they don't have anything new to report on.  Perhaps Roger will give them a statement before he leaves Sydney tomorrow?

Never saw the news before and it appears to be new news for everyone else too.  Would love to read through the articles from before, do you know where I can find some?

Sorry Scott, I didn't mean to jump on you for posting that (and whoops I was on a different computer so posted as 'guest' by mistake).  The plans on training with Roche were discussed ages ago, such as in Roger's press conference before he went to the UN/TMC in November, at least one of his TMC interviews, and even tennis-x was mentioning Roche-Federer relationship in October.  I tried to find the pre-UN press conf write-ups on Swiss tennis, but unfortunately they're so old they've scrolled off the news list now.

All I'm saying is that I find it a bit strange to read all these "new" articles coming from the Australian press, when there's nothing really new in them, that's all.  No doubt they are just trying to find something to write about in the run-up to the AO, and with Federer over there at the moment, they are hoping they will get some sort of story.  I hope they do too.

pfft, no harm no foul.  I didn't think you were jumping down my throat.  I was just wondering if you had links from before because it seems to be new news to most people.  Tough to read into peoples attitudes on the pc when they type.  Sorry if mine came across bad yo.
