I'm really disappointed that we didn't get atleast 1 goal for all the chances we had, especially if the first half- we were all over Inter and showed the difference in class from European and World Champions compared to the Italian Champions. Inter got it together more in the 2nd half and although we should beat them back at Old Trafford its really balanced this tie out in us not getting that away goal- thats the one slight concern right now. But overall with a patched up defence we can take a lot back home from this and look to kill Inter in the 2nd leg  :)>>>>  :)>>>>
Also tonight we set a new Champions League record of 20 consecutive matches unbeaten :applause: :applause:

Ronaldo - We're a great team
Portuguese ace confident of progression on home soil

Cristiano Ronaldo believes Manchester United's impressive showing at Inter Milan on Tuesday proves they are a great team.

The Red Devils made Jose Mourinho's outfit look poor for much of their UEFA Champions League clash, but were unable to bag a priceless away goal.

Despite the goalless draw at Giuseppe Meazza, Ronaldo remains confident of progression to the quarter-finals in the return leg at Old Trafford.

"We played better than Inter in my opinion. We created more chances, especially in the first half. But we didn't score," said Ronaldo to Sky Sports News.

Great team
"We have the second leg at home. We have a better chance than here.

"I know here is always difficult to play, but we've shown we are a great team and we deserved to win."

Wayne Rooney was a late introduction on Tuesday and the no-nonsense striker is disappointed United could not take an away goal back to Old Trafford.

"We really should have taken one of those chances and given ourselves a better chance for the game at Old Trafford," he stated.

"It's always a difficult place to come and a draw is still a good result."

Michael Carrick does not necessarily believe the 0-0 outcome was a poor result, stating: "I'm not too disappointed. It's not a bad result. It's just when we've played well we could and should have scored."

United the only English team not getting a 1-0 win, although they arguably deserved it the most. Oh well.

Sporting Lisbon 0-5 Bayern Munich  :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

Madrid are an absolute joke of a team now- no doubt about that. They were so poor and gave Liverpool nothing to be worried about. Undoubtably this is the worst Real Madrid team for many years.

I agree, what happened to the times where the likes of Ronaldo, Zidane and Figo dominated all the teams that came to Bernabeu? There are no replacements, they are a shadow of their former team.

Exactly. Madrid are now just an average team living on their past glory days and star players that are no longer in football or at the club.
