I think she's Serbian, or Croat. She sounded Slavic of some sort. They showed some video of her in competition. Mostly against guys, and, of course, all of her winning the points. The guys she was playing weren't of the top calibre though. They were good players, but not even close to the best.

Got a couple hours in today! :))
As much as I like slammin', it's fun to practice with my buddies by playing 'D' and allowing them to hit.
I'm confused as to what type of player I am now!!!

Getting ready to graduate to a real bat.  Am looking at something in the all-around category.
Any playas here have suggestions as to blade and rubber for an all-around player?

Agreed!!! The point that starts at 1:30 is stunning to me!!!
I don't see either men or women just players!  There aren't many sports where the sexes are nearly equal in ability.

I think it's almost time to upgrade my equipment from the sports store paddle to a more professional blade and rubbers.
Unfortunately, there are no clubs close by where I can demo different setups, so I have no idea where to start.
I'll probably end up going with an all around setup for starters, something like this-

My buddy has this blade with the Forza rubbers.  It feels a little 'hard' to me.  I'm not sure if that's the blade, sponge or rubber.

Rubbers are separate and sometimes cost more than the blade. :(  Sold individually, since upper level players utilize different tactics on FH and BH and therefore require different properties in the rubber.  Kooky, I know! :)
