Week 8 Saturday, 18 October 2008
Arsenal v Everton, 15:00
Aston Villa v Portsmouth, 15:00
Bolton v Blackburn, 15:00
Fulham v Sunderland, 15:00
Hull v West Ham, 15:00
Liverpool v Wigan, 15:00
Man Utd v West Brom, 15:00
Middlesbrough v Chelsea, 15:00
Newcastle v Man City, 15:00
Stoke v Tottenham, 15:00
This is what I'm thinking
For each match, pick the winning team or draw
For each correct pick, 3 pts are awarded for each win and 1 point for each draw
The week's winner gets 3 points, remaining top 1/2 receive 1 point and the bottom 1/2 receives 0 pts for the week*. YE winner has the most points at season's end.
Example 1:
Player A score 26 pts.......3
Player B score 25 pts.......1
Player C score 24 pts.......1
Player D score 20 pts.......0
Player E score 19 pts.......0
Babblelot score 15 pts......0
*if an odd number of people enter, then we will round UP, to determine top half. So, if 7 people enter, then the top half is 4 and the bottom half is 3.
I'm thinking we really don't need tie-breakers since it's a long season, so for Example 2, we'd score it as follows.
Example 2:
Player A score 26 pts.......3
Player B score 26 pts.......3
Player C score 26 pts.......3
Player D score 20 pts.......1
Player E score 20 pts.......1
Babblelot score 15 pts......0
Anyone intersted? Any suggestions to improve the game?
