The Fastest Forehands!

I was thinking to make this thread Blake's Fastest Forehands... but then, that way I'm only limiting the field, because there are many other players who can hit 100+ mph once in a while. So, instead, this thread will be The Fastest Forehands (by anybody). And, also, the idea is to post only the points... not full matches & highlights with messages where to find the shot in the match. But, if there is no option for that, then at least the highlights.

great idea!!! I plan on uploading maybe a Federer forehand music video or something.  I've already got plenty of individual clips that I can gather up in iMovie HD.
but for now, here:

it's slomo but you know it's gotta be huge!!!

Blake does have a monstrous forehand, but only when the ball is jumps high into his high strike zone.  give him low balls and his strokes look ugly, but pit him against a player like Nadal or Moya who hit heavy topspin and he strikes beautifully.

Just got these... @ the Blake forehand: WOW.  That guy didn't even realize how badly his second serve got raped until 5 secs later  :rofl_2:

And yeah, Berasategui absolutely throws his entire body into the forehand and creates pretty massive pace  :lmao:

I'm looking forward to people start posting some of the Sampras running forehands from the mid 90s: Some were so explosive, I kept thinking that perhaps the opponents shouldn't try to actually pull him out wide on the FH side, since it was only a matter of Sampras getting to it and going for an explosive winner.

We need to see some of the Larsson, Korda, Gustafsson and Equvist FHs during the indoor season: They used to hammer the ball pretty flat too.

Tsonga vs. Djokovic, Marseille 2009 semifinal: Tsonga dominated the match with powerful groundstrokes and won the match; though, an angry monster forehand came from Djokovic just few points away from his defeat: The score board reading (not included in the clip) showed, first 197kmh, then 187kmh. So, this forehand was either 122mph or 116mph.!

Nice,  Djokovic hit a similar go-for-broke wounded animal type forehand in the Queen's final.  I'll post that up.

Murray also hit a nice scorcher down the line against Ancic, worthy of mention.

I'll get those two up soon.

I have a made a compilation of Blake forehands specially for this forum but cant upload it somewhere that works. Where do yuo guys upload stuff? Also, its nice to see some Blake fans!!!! :))
