Topic: Which fallen player of 2008 has the best chance for a comeback in 2009?

Of course, I'm going with Andy and Richard. They both have new coaches and I expect a lot from them next year. But out of the two, I'll go with Andy has he has a bigger desire and drive to succeed. But Richard may surprise me. He doesn't have the pressure of the French people now that Tsonga and Simon have replaced him so he may feel free-er.

I'll go with Gasquet or Baghdatis. Definitely Gasquet at this point. Roddick hasn't really 'fallen' anywhere - regardless of wether we are talking about relative standards or absolute standards. By relative standards, you'd have to even put Federer in there.

But yeah, I vote for Gasquet who's my dark horse pick for break-through player of the year next year.

I don't see how Roddick is a Fallen player of 2008, I mean, he did win 3 titles, and made it to 7 semis .............he just didnt perform well at the slams.
But next year, he's not going to have much to defend at the slams

He didnt have the best year, but he had an ok one IMO, so next year, i think he could move up the ranking because he's not going to have ALOT of point sto defend

Wow, that's a tough question.  I guess it depends on what you mean by 'comeback'?  Comeback into the top 10? or... to win a major title?  What?  Roddick made the year-end; the one who REALLY fell out was Baghdatis... He almost fell out of the top 100!  So his comeback might mean he moved back into the top 20 or something.

I went for Gasquet because he is young and seems to have exceptional technical skills.  What worries me about him is his mental makeup....
