T4U's All-Time Favorite Players List (The time has come!)
« on: December 22, 2008, 12:37:45 PM »
Every year during the off season, I update this list to include the new posters. You can go here to find the results following the 2007 season

http://www.tennis4you.com/forum/index.php?topic=7588.0

Those who've already voted don't have to vote again unless your list has changed significantly = add new name to your list, remove old name. I don't care about the order you previously ranked them; e.g., I don't need to know that you've swapped player #3 with player #6.

OK new people, post your ATP and WTA All-Time Favorite Top Ten Players here. You must rank them from #1 to #10. Don't hurt yourself thinking about the ranking, but you do have to rank them.

Wasn't as keen on tennis back then so I wasn't a major supporter, whereas I am to my favourite players now.

I don't think I could come up with 10 on the list, but it would be interesting.  For me, it would be:
Now these are just when they were actually playing.  Not off court because I actually enjoy McEnroe these days off court.

1.  Nastase
2.  McEnroe (J)
3.  Connors
4.  Canas
5.  Nalbandian
6.  Stepanek
7.  I. Tiriac
8. J. Gimelstob

These are all I can think of for right now.

there is nothing wrong with Nalby. he is all class on the court. i guess he has beaten Fed too many times. that has to be it.

This is MY list!  I didn't say anything when you started out with Fed on your list! :)~  It's all personal choices.  It's who I prefer and who I don't prefer.  My reasons!  Some players you like for certain reasons.  Others who don't really care for.  And actually, Roger has a winning record against Nalby so it's not that.  It's just the style of tennis I prefer to watch and not watch with him as well as Canas.

if you cant stand Nalby`s tennis then you must really just hate the way the clay monster plays. Nalby is an exciting all court player. it has to be those 2 wins in a row over Fed last year at masters events.

i know you little too well dallas. come clean and tell us again why you cant stand Canas. could it be that he gunned down Fed twice in a row last year on hard courts at masters events?

and how about Simon? did you forget about him? he has beaten Fed twice in a row on hard courts this year.

 :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical:

lighten up. he still has 13 slams.
