I'm so very lucky I really am to have met 3 of my 5 favourites its such a surreal experience and one I would never swap for anything in this world. When I've spoken to all 3 of them- Maria, then Victoria then Kateryna my heart has been beating about 1000 times a minute but thankfully each time I've got my words out  All 3 have been absolutely adorable as well and so nice. Pictures and autographs and memories of speaking to all 3 too

You just got to make it happen though Dallas- I set myself goals of what I anted to see and who I wanted to try and meet and I've done it all on my own- my own money every time, my own planning of each trip, then ensuring I've been able to spot my favourites at the perfect time. I always said before I was 22 I wanted to have visited 3 of the Slams and come September this year I'd have achieved that with 17 days in hand. Also with the likes of Nastia- she may only perform in England once in her life so I MUST see her this October. Before they retire I must meet all 5 of my favourites and get autogpahs of them too- I'm 3/5 of the way there :)Meeting your favourites Dallas and actually talking to them is the most wonderful thing and experience so you MUST make it happen. Don't get 5-10 years down the line and regret it because thats what I've always told myself with everything. What about New York 2009? seems perfect to me Dallas

Hey, it's great to talk about your favorite players.  If you look at the Federer thread, you'll see mostly my post.  That's fine.  BGT was trying to get the Roddick thread UP to 17 pages. I say we can do it here and get Victoria's thread over Roddick's in no time!

Exactly right, its definitely mine and your favourite thing to do talking about our favourites  A lot of the Fed thread is your post and a lot of Maria's thread is mine. I saw BGT was trying to get A-Rods up a page, but we're doing such a great job here for Victoria that we'll definitely see this 1 go above Roddick's and then Haas' thread. Then there's only the top 4 on the ATP side and Maria's that would have more posts than Victoria's

She's recovering pretty well right now thankfully. There's not been a whole lot said on it the last 48 hours or so but even during her press conference a couple of hours after the match she was feeling a bit better and yesterday she was doing pretty well and looking to get over what the doctors believe is a virus(I'm wondering if its related to the one she had to pull out of Sydney with) Fed Cup for Victoria starts in a weeks time and thats a long trip to Estonia in Europe. It also pretty tough because Belarus are in the Euro/African Group 1 which means you have to play 3 ties in 3 days(2 singles and a doubles) and then if you come top of the group 1 more tie to see if you go into the World Group 2 playoffs in April. So if Victoria is fit and ready and Belarus need her for all 4 potential ties she will have 4 singles matches and possibly 4 doubles matches in 4 days. Thats a lot after a virus and sickness so I hope she isn't needed to play all the ties that week.
So far she is on course to play Fed Cup but we'll have to see how Victoria comes through the next 4-7 days.

Ms. Azarenka has done good in the 2009 Australia Open.  She will be in the top 10 this year if she plays the same intensity and quality that she played in the 2009 Australia.  Nice to see a talent like hers break through to get some recognition!
