12 so far.   I am sure the #'s would be higher if we did not have the server blip...  I did get an email out to all members reminding them of the games.  Hopefully that helps!

Cheers Scott. There's still 1 day and a few regulars who aren't in yet: Chris, BGT, I'm looking at you! I'm hoping for Babble, Buckeye, conchita, Lugburz, Borovnia also.

What about shankar and herc?  Oh wait... I forgot...they can already see in the future so it wouldn't be fair for them to play :innocent:

Roughly translated: they love to claim how they've made hundreds of great predictions over the last year but when the oppurtunity comes to prove it, they run to the hills. Grow a pair, guys.

Greatest predictions ever shankar and herc, then ask them here & thay become chicken sh*ts  :rofl_2:
You better reconsider that insult! :)>>>>

They didn't 'become chicken shats' by being asked for proof of their abilities.
That is just who they are. :angle-not:

In order to prove 'my' self-proclaimed inability to predict winners, I present to you my list of picks:

Serra
Spadea
Gonzo
Golubev
Melzer   woooohooo!
Clement
Kohli
Flipkens
Domachowska
Camerin

Safin to win. ;-()

In case anybody's interested, with 23 players, here are the picks distributions:

Melzer 12-11 Nishikori
Flipkens 12-11 De Los Rios
Hewitt 13-10 Gonzalez
Kohlschreiber 13-10 Querrey
Golubev 14-9 Fognini
Gallovits 15-8 Camerin
----------------------------------------
Mirza 16-7 Domachowska
Clement 17-6 Stakhovsky
Serra 21-2 Karanusic
Spadea 22-1 Istomin

I feel pretty justified in picking the ones above the line, anything closer than a 2:1 ratio qualifies as 'interesting', but I guess the other 4 were mistakes on my part, though I thought Stakhovsky in particular would get more picks. Hopefully you bunch of sheep will be punished for picking the big name there  :)>>>>

Nice brreakdown Kick. 23 playing so far then and that could rise to around 30 by the start of play with a bit of luck- so thats some excellent numbers and competition  :)

The Spadea v Istomin was tough for me. Neither are in great form.
I'm so tempted to change a pick, it's bugging me. :rofl_2:

kick serve,

Did you also do any women doubles pick? Cause I just check the draw and I find very interesting first round match;

Serena/Venus VS Nadia P/Svetlana K. Wow talking about tough draw. The women doubles probably will play in another 2 days time.

As the tournament moves on I will be adding in mens doubles, womens doubles and possibly mixed doubles matches. I couldn't do it for the first round as the draws have only just been made: I couldn't wait until now to post the picks. Will probably have at least 2 doubles matches in R2.

Pick 'Em Matches to be played tomorrow.
All times GMT
Camerin - Gallovits approx. 3am
Flipkens - De Los Rios approx. 3am
Mirza - Domachowska approx. 5am
Querrey - Kohlschreiber approx. 7am

As I wont be online at those times, to make sure we don't get anybody picking a match which has started, all picks on a match will be discounted if they are made within 1 hour of the time I've estimated, as none of them are 1st matches on court.

e.g. if you send in your picks at 2:30am GMT, they all count except for Camerin - Gallovits and Flipkens - De Los Rios. If you send them in after 4am the Mirza - Domachowska pick is also discarded, and after 6am the Querrey - Kohlschreiber pick will be too.

Thanks. Will need coaching for this as we go along but I think I have it in principal.
