I voted on who I WANT to win.  Some folks are saying Nadal won't be in shape, etc., but I think Nadal is young, fit, and he'll bounce back just fine AND he is in Roger's head so I don't think those fans are giving Nadal the benefit that he deserves.  I believe Nadal will be Nadal and come out firing in this final.  I just hope Roger will be ROGER and play like I know he can to take #14.

I'm picking Fed, he's looked great the last 2 matches. It should be close though.

I picked Roger before the tournament started and I'm sticking with my pick.  I'm rooting for Nadal though.  :)
Lots of people make passes at me, I'm a tennis player!

I am also going for who I want to win, which is Rafa.  Hoping that he is ready physically and emotionally for the match. Anyways, he has played some great tennis in these two weeks so I am happy whatever happens.

Really? If Rafa isn't physically ready, he must not be fit. Right? I've been reading all week that only poorly prepared panzies are too tired to finish. I mean, according to monster, swish and Dallas, this is indisputable. Right? Funny you should think you're guy is a panzie.

Nice little twist Babs.

Read my posts again and you'll see the point I failed to illuminate for you was that if you know you're going to be playing tennis in severe heat conditions then you might wanna consider preparing by training under similar conditions.

Foolish is more like it. :(

I wonder where Rafa spent his time preparing for the AO? :rofl_2:

I don't want to get into it now, but we (collectively) should discuss the demands of today's game vis-a-vis 10, 20, 30, 40 years ago in context with the limitations of the human body.

Need there be a discussion? It's totally different of course.
