Interesting. I've always thought of Chicago as a beautiful city. But I've only been during the spring, so my opinion probably doesn't count. Stockton is gang and drug infested. Memphis is crime-ridden and corrupt. So no surprise with those two.

Only since the end of 2007 have things gotten I like Beal Street; you were probablable too young and too clean to appreciate it

I have relatives in Chicago, and they would only take me to the places they wanted me to see. I've never had a chance to enjoy Chicago the way I would have wanted to. But I do remember it being more beautiful and much cleaner than New York City.

Unlike the east coast, are garbage goes in the back alleys, not set out on the sidewalks.Curious, do they live in Chicago, or do they live "in Chicago"? They live in the Gold Coast area and I have two cousins that live in Steerville or is it Steeterville or Sheeterville area. It's something ville, I can't remember exactly. They have real trees!
