All I can say is;  my God, what i did Stocton and Memphis do to be ranked higher?

Is a tree as a rocking horse
An ambition fulfilled
And is the sawdust jealous?
I worry about these things .

Interesting. I've always thought of Chicago as a beautiful city. But I've only been during the spring, so my opinion probably doesn't count.

Stockton is gang and drug infested. Memphis is crime-ridden and corrupt. So no surprise with those two.

Are you kidding? Chicago's World Class (period) Prior to 2008, you'd find it in the Top 5. Only since the end of 2007 have things gotten  :blue:  :-o

I like Beal Street; you were probablable too young and too clean to appreciate it  ;-()

Hmmmm, I'm not sure if I've been to Beal Street. I have relatives in Chicago, and they would only take me to the places they wanted me to see. I've never had a chance to enjoy Chicago the way I would have wanted to. But I do remember it being more beautiful and much cleaner than New York City.

It's one of the cleanest, big "old" cities in the country. Unlike the east coast, are garbage goes in the back alleys, not set out on the sidewalks.

Curious, do they live in Chicago, or do they live "in Chicago"? I live in Chicago and would never think of living "in Chicago"  ;-()

I think you guys call it the Near North. They live in the Gold Coast area and I have two cousins that live in Steerville or is it Steeterville or Sheeterville area. It's something ville, I can't remember exactly. They have real trees!
