Continuing with this thread, I found this rally not in one place but TWO videos:

An EIGHTY-SIX stroke rally between Borg and Vilas, in - what else - the French Open, in 1978.

Both versions are in the following file - one version counts out the strokes (some fast-forwarded), and the other is just the play between them.

Borg and Vilas, in the same match, had (at least!) two other long rallies, one of 36 and a second of 43 strokes. This video includes other "highlights" of the match. If anyone is interested, I'll post it too.
