Nadal
Murray
Verdasco
Wawrinka

What if Nadal or Murray lose their R3 match? If you don't respond and that happens, I'll assume you pick Lapentti or Fognini?

Actually, kickserve, I was gambling that they wouldn't.  I'll stay out on that limb and default if it doesn't work out for either or both.

Stupid weather  :rain:
Hi kickserve
Driving to tennis tonight, I decided that I may not have been realistic.

I'd like to change my QF pick'ems to

Nadal
Nalbandian or Davydenko (whichever gets there)
Verdasco
Wawrinka

Is it OK to do this now?
General reasoning is that if either Nalbandian or Davidenko is in his best form, he would probably beat Murray on clay.

That's fine, I'm waiting until the first lot of matches have finished before I try and record all the picks.

hi kickserve,

If not tooo late:
In the light of day, I'd like to change my QF picks back to:

Nadal
Murray
Verdasco
Wawrinka

I now think old man Nalbandian/Davydenko will be tired.

I know how it feels after my tennis last night  :( .

you're yet on time euroka, and IMO, good choice, same as I did. If Denko would have won in 2 sets he could have a chance, but going into 3 and playing just a few hours later, well I think Andy is the favourite there.

This is a fun time of the tournament.  Winds of change happening as we speak.
Shall be a stalwart rather than a fickle Murray supporter from here on, kickserve.  :innocent:

Not fickle, just objective and with very little faith in Murray on clay  :)~

Only Pacer and Harnas have picked Djoko so you'll still be top if he does win.

I wont be able to keep running this for the rest of the week: travelling back to uni tomorrow, packing tonight, so somebody else will have to do leaderboard and scores for the rest of the week.

In case anybody out there is custodian of kickserve's spreadsheet,

my picks for the semifinalists are Nadal and Djokovic

with Nadal getting the championship

I've given up on doubles! Too subject to random score fluctuations.  :scared:
From here on, I see the singles very predictable but the matches  should still be fun to watch for good tennis.

Self-praise is for losers. Be a winner. Stand for something. Always have class, and be humble.
