Update:

Higgins beats Selby - 13-12 cracking match  :) Lugburz wont be happy though on the camping trip

Robertson beats Maguire - 13-8 nice to see him reach the semi-finals for 1st time  :)

Murphy beats Hendry  :mad1:  :( - 13-11, p@ssed Hendry's out, but at least he proved life in the old dog yet  :rofl_2: and his 147  but may have done more harm than good, but he's still 7 titles  great performance from the old man !!

Allen beats Day - 13-11

Semi-final line up:

Allen v Higgins

Murphy v Robertson

For me, be great to see Allen v Robertson final  :// wishfull thinking but who knows

Personal view, I am not quite sure about Murphy as a person  :zipped: Just a personal view of him that he almost looks so proud about himself, oops not sure what the word is, but when he's being introduced to the crowd, something not quite right  :confused1:, and everything he says is almost too good to be true, like he's trying real hard to be soo nice, perhaps its just me, but it's like almost  :zipped: better not say any more on the matter  :upside down:

On to the final  :)

Not the final I wanted, but...

John Higgins leads Murphy 11-5

After reading some of the headlines about Mr Murphy, perhaps I may be right   Never expected to read those sort of headlines of Mr Murphy, then again he did come across as something not quite right  :gleam:  Well at least I predicted something correct  :rofl_2:

 :)

Selby

Well, not to bad from my faves..
Selby lost very tight match against current finalist and most likely the winner of this champ. So that isn't bad at all..
Carter lost in the 2nd Round and is defeated by my fave #3 so I couldn't complain  ;-() and after that small upset, Robertson managed to beat #2seed -Maguire !  :lmao: while falling down to the Murphy...

During my time spent on camping none of my guys got into the final, but I am more than happy by the outcomes  ;-()

Higgins win 18-9 not the best final oops forgot (IMO), although a great Championship over all (again IMO)

Would have like to see two unknowns in the final, but .......(meaning two players never in a final at the Crucible), just to see how they would have coped  :)

Congrats Mr John Higgins and his fans  :)

I knew Kick would start that  :rofl_2:

I watch it from time to time, but can't watch it to any great length, and generally wil only watch parts of the World Championship and not even much from that.

Well if I got him..He is kidding why I putted Snooker in the other sports? Well if snooker ain't some kind of sport then I'm not human..

Btw,Neither do I follow it that much,I like watching players I mentioned, and from time to time the others...

If snooker is a sport than so are the following:

Golf
Darts
Pool
Billiards
Horseshoes
Pooh-sticks
Shove ha'penny
Poker
Chess
Speed-reading
Rock-paper-scissors

Lol.  Poker seems pretty big on Sky Sports these days.

Finally! Mark Selby won the Masters in London !
Final : def. O'Sullivan 10-9  an awesome match that was ,especially the shot that gave him the win in the last frame.
Hoping many more wins like this to come for my fave :thumbs-up:

All I can say is Thank God.  O'Sullivan must be the most miserable man on earth.  I've also been a Mark Williams fan, not that I'm a big snooker nut.  He should really have beaten O'Sullivan in the semis, but it's good to see him back mixing it with the best.

well I'm not that big fun either, but it's so nice and relaxing sometimes to watch it. Especially when your favorite wins such an important tournament. I really didn't see it coming , so glad that Selby won!

A little, but in pool you pot your own 7 balls plus the black last. In this you pot red-another ball-red-another-etc. replacing each non-red ball every time it's potted until all the reds are gone, then yellow-green-broiwn-blue-pink-black, reds are worth 1 (there are 15), yellow is 2, green 3, brown 4, blue 5, pink 6, black 7. Whoever has more points when all balls are potted wins.

As an aside, can a mod please move this (along with darts, golf and NFL threads) into 'general discussions. Or better yet, move the NFL thread into the videos forum, as nobody ever goes there.
