But remember where Wimbledon is held!  That should explain it, and that's why I think they are not doing a service to Murray because they are putting so much pressure on him.  Remember when they made him the favorite at the AO!  He didn't handle it very well then.  Let's see how he does at this tournament.

The only person who put more pressure on Murray than the British is sid.  :rofl_2: :rofl_2: :rofl_2:

Well, I kind of agree with you there! :rofl_2:

Lets have Federer v Murray then :)~ see if he can improve that rubbish record v Murray. If Federer plays Murray, the pressure is on Federer. ;-()

No more pressure for Fed, the king returns.

Oh... then teach me please Babble :)

They are anticipating heavy Murray betting for two reason: sentimental (irrational) betting and the cloud of uncertainty that hangs over Nadal's head today. Similarly, they've set the odds on Nadal accordingly--too much uncertainty today. If they start Murray at 8:1, where Djokovic is, they'll lose a lot of action because they'll have to move the odds to, say, 5:2 in an attempt to deter more action on Murray.

Do you think Djokovic will be 8:1 on the eve of the draw? I don't. Why? Because people find him attractive at 8:1. I suspect he'll be bet down to 4:1. But what does that mean to you and me. Nothing.

That's why I say place a bet on Roddick at 26:1. If he wins, he pays handsomely.  ;-()

The odds for outright winner:

1. R Federer 1.90
2. A Murray 4.00
3. R Nadal 4.33
4. N Djokovic 8.00
5. J Tsonga 13.00
6. J Del Potro 21.00
7. R Soderling 26.00
8. A Roddick 26.00
9. F Verdasco 41.00
10. M Cilic 67.00
11. G Monfils 81.00
12. F Gonzalez 81.00

Federer a heavy favourite, surprised me how much he's favoured over everyone else! I think it's ridiculous that Murray is above Nadal.
