Can we please call this thread either French Open 2009 or Roland Garros 2009? Thanks.

Emma! You are always asking for people to change the name of threads. Why are you never satisfied? :)~

But at least, it would more appropriate, no? I mean FO literally doesn't start until May 25 so what's up with the dates? ATP should be removed and just change the dates. Not asking too much.

Where is the thread starter? French Open from May 5 to May 31?

and it ends June 7, not may 31. Who started this thread and what was up with these dates? Maybe it was for the qualies and then after the 31 we'll move to another thread with the second half of the slam. I have no idea :confused1:

Actually, sid's original title was French Open, or something basic. Me thinks a mod came along and mucked it up. Must have been Dallas, she hates clay.  :\

Considering his clay court prowess, Rafa has an easy draw. Apart from Verdasco, no one can even break a sweat of his. Djokovic and Murray have it a little tougher. Ferrero in the third round and Delpotro in the quarters could be testing rounds for Djokovic. He better be prepared. Murray will definitely struggle initially but he may get to the quarters. I will not be surprised if he loses before the quarters either. Once again Federer has a cupcake draw. I don't see anyone who is even remotely a threat to him until the semis. To the delight of tennis fans, at least this time Djokovic is in Federer's half.

sid won't be pleased with the draw! Of course, it may be a case of wishful thinking on his behalf

Rafa has the toughest quarter.

Fed has the easiest quarter.

 :innocent:

You got your way with Djokovic being in Federer's half, I'm sure you would have caused an uproar if it was the other way round, is there always something to complain about with you?  :confused1:

Murray needs more matches on clay before he goes deep in RG. He just needs to use 5 setters to prepare for a better shot going deeper next year

Moderators can change it now? I wonder how everyone including me ignored this. Someone edited it but it is still showing May 5 - May 31.

Quarter?! His quarter?! What about the number of qualifiers? Only a Nadal Fan  :rofl_2: :lmao!:

Roger's half of the draw is loaded. Go luck joining Agassi as the only player in history to win each slam on all four surfaces, Rog!

I am still having problems with the ATP and WTA part. Can you please call it Men and Women instead? Dearest Conchita, let me know if I am nitpicking too much or being anal, but I think it's doable and more appropriate.

What about the font? Should we change the font, too?

Do you prefer this font? Oh Pu-leeeze... ..-)
or this font? Oh Pu-leeeze...  ..-)
how bout this font? Oh Pu-leeeze...  ..-)
maybe this font Oh Pu-leeeze...  ..-)

Hey, some of these font options are bogus! :laugh-bounce:
