I just saw this too. The eagles will announce the signing Friday, the end of the week just like Tony Dungy said! From what I've heard he can play the last 2 preseason games, he can attend all the team activities, but he won't be available again until week 6 of the season.

that's all I've heard, Retro can fix and/or fill in the rest.
:)~

Michael Vick is an Eagle...Hide your Beagle

Don't care for the signing because I don't see how he helps the team. He wasn't a good QB pre-jail, so if McNabb goes down..its just like having AJ Feely as QB. WE need linebackers, safties, and TE.
I lost the will to live mid way through the first set!

The one good thing about the signing is that his stock will go up as soon as his suspension ends. If they couldn't fill their needs via the draft or FA, perhaps they'll deal Vick for one of the three next year.

I think he deserves a second change and I applaud the Eagles for giving it to him (even though they are our rivals! :mad1:).  But I've read where people are saying Vick is evil and he shouldn't be signed etc., yet you have people who have actually KILLED PEOPLE still playing professional sports; people who have been convicted of drunk driving and KILLED PEOPLE still playing, so if they can get a 2nd and 3rd and sometimes 4th chance, I think Vick deserves one too.

Now with that - I hope the Eagles have a sorry year and my Cowboys can make AND WIN a playoff game! :rofl_2:  They open that billion dollar stadium tonight.

I don't care about Vick one way or the other. He's paid his debt to society and he's lucky to be in a profession that looks the other way. Anyway, he sucks, and if someone is stupid enough to pay him $1.5 mil, more power to him. But I will say this much about your comments. I do side with those who think he's more of a d-bag than an idiot (drunk drivers). Whereas no one intends to kill people while driving home drunk from a party or a club, Vick's actions were premeditated and repeated. The d-bag knew better. He kept it on the DL for a reason.
