All day today I watched women serving like crap. Otherwise the matches were good.

Am liking Mchale so far. I hope she stays focused and pulls an upset here if possible. She should keep the balls deep and also, try her best to improve her serve as the match goes. Sharapova looks a bit nervous to me.

I find Sharapova's nonstop screaming really disturbing and annoying. If I were her opponent, I would be distracted by it. It's like you are sleeping with someone who snores really big and keeps you awake at night. I really feel she does that to distract her opponents. She's quite big and giant. No reason for her to scream her lungs out on each point. She has enough strength as it is.

I feel sad for JJ. Her grandma died the night before her match. They were very close. I read about this on another forum.

When Safina play so bad (but win) in first round, I predict she will not passed QF this time. But with all seeded players drop like flies, and she is the only seeded player left in her quarter draw, she will march to her fifth semifinal in a row.

Meanwhile, Venus still has the toughest draw with Kim C, Azarenka playing very well. Will be tough to play Kim at R 16, then Azarenka at QF and then if she still win, Serena at SF.

Had to congrats all unseeded players who play like there was no tomorrow. So they reap their hard work. 16 seeded players (out of 32) all lost before reaching third round.

Can the unseeded players make more suprises? Or maybe the seeded players hang themselves by playing bad with tons of UE and DF?

her mother had been feeling better the past couple weeks but to go out and play a match at your best with all that is a lot to ask for

More fav player lost. Azarenka UE realy make her lost against Schiavone very good play. Azarenka make 18 winners and a whopping 46 UE. Schiavone total attack work. She made 30 winners and 32 UE.

Serena looking good to win the title cause all her toughest opponents go away in earlier rounds.

Li Na quietly move to her second fourth round in US Open after defeating Kirilenko 6-4,6-2. She will face Schiavone for a place in the quarter final. (It will be their first US Open quarter for both of them)

I wish Oudin vs Sharapova was the first match tomorrow. I don't suppose Oudin will be able to pull another upset as it's too soon for her but still, you never know.
