As I was wandering the halls of Louis Armstrong today, I actually ran into Yanina and her crew.  Not as tall in real life as I imagined her to be.  Still, a cool, random moment.

Bah. I think they just wanted to boo. Or were over-sensitive (and that's saying something coming from me). Or couldn't hear it well. I don't think Pam meant any harm and was just nervous or something. I'm not a fan of hers but her comment was harmless to me.

2 Women's Semi's are later in the day today, with Clijsters vs Serena not before 8pm local time. But don't expect much if any play again today as forecast is terrible. Looks like we have a Tuesday finish (Womens Final Monday night) since the weather is much better Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Forecast looks a lot better now Chris.  It has stopped raining and looking at the forecast, there is a 4-5 hour window where play could get in.

I am pumped to see Serena take on Kim C.  I expect Serena to win, but I would looooooove to see Kim win this match up.  If Kim was not in the draw I am pretty sure I would be rooting on Serena to take the tourney.  :)

Due to today’s weather and our strong desire to complete the women’s singles semifinal matches today, the following is the revised order of play: The Wickmayer-Wozniacki match will now be played in Louis Armstrong stadium as soon as weather permits. The Clijsters-Williams match will start at approximately 8pm in Arthur Ashe stadium as soon as weather permits.
