West Ham v Millwall
« on: August 28, 2009, 12:22:41 PM »
The rivalry in English game will never die,nor it can be stopped  ;-() Its been a while since last pitch invasion happened ,but this was probably expected. I had just one look with my friend who is die-hard Millwall supporter(actually I brought him couple of things from South London area  ..-) ) and   we looked each other like:Hm ,guess who's gonna be West Hams opponent ---Millwall! And were, like oh there must be some s**t !
Two clubs haven't met each other since like '05 or smth...  I remember last year when Chelsea played Tottenham, another brutal derby in London, were couple of fans were stabbed but that was only outside the stadium...but surely this was different ;-()
..nice moment there 0.47s when the guy knows he's screwed, but that was his 5mins of fame long waited  :)

yeah you know HOW MUCH I love that backhand  :ice cream:
well, onto the subject of the thread then..
Millwall is having problems keeping up with the top teams for last few years. He is currently playing in English League One (3rd one starting from the Premiership)
West Ham on the other hand much more successful in the last few years, than its most famous rival club-Millwall.
There are plenty of fierce London derbies, mostly associated with (Chelsea,West Ham and Millwall) and this is one of the main rivalries there. That was League Cup match...
