Can't wait to see the nice highlights! I hope you guys are warming-up your highlighting softwares, so they're ready & kickin' to start choppin' them nice 17 matches coming up. Thanks!

haha YES!!! 

In about 9 hours we'll see if delPo can avenge his fatigued loss against Murray in Montreal  :cheer:

And in 33 hours we'll see if Soderling can prove to Nadal that the RG upset wasn't a fluke

hopefully we can get some highlights in 50 fps

I'm leaving at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning  :)) 8 hours away by train  :ZZZZZ)
I've got tickets for all day Tues & Wed and just before they all sold out, Thurs afternoon so I'm REALLY hoping that todays winners play each other in the next round, I think that's what happened last year?

The AVI I get from capping is about 1 GB for every hour of play, which is too large.

I recently installed Aimersoft HD Converter, which gave me 720x404 resolution. Would that be OK? (I think you can tell my knowledge of the difference between HD and SD and LD and others, is limited. If anyone has a nice FAQ.....)

well for me at least, 720x404 is good enough :))

If you can make it 50 fps that would be awesome as well!  After watching high fps, I just can't go back to normal anymore... the motion on replays is just so smoooth


But first, is Aimersoft a processor or a capturerer?  If you can get the raw MPEG-2 TS/mpg file, then you can use this guide: https://webspace.utexas.edu/fgz62/www/X264%20encoding%20guide%20-%20HDWiki.pdf

If it's not too much trouble, could you provide a sample of footage that was encoded by Aimersoft?
