In Europe, we had problems with the broadcast in the 3rd set, sdede, do you know if you will have the full 3rd set? Yesterday, we almost saw nothing after 3-1 in the 3rd!

Wasn't just Europe... one of the pool satellites apparently blew over in the wind. Generally at major events like these, there's only one broadcast feed mounted, and everybody takes the same video feed (the different nation commentators just sit in boxes around the grounds, watch the tv screen and do commentary in their own languages)... so when that went, everybody's feed went. I suspect though some broadcast organisations would have been doing separate on grounds videotaping and will probably edit in the missing parts

Unfortunately ESPN receives that same feed and so, no, I saw very little after 3-1 in the third set as well. I was hoping that when they continued, they would "roll it back" and continue with non-live coverage, but they didn't do that.

There's a real keeper here: during the second set tiebreak between Davydenko and Nadal, there was a 36 shot rally!!!

For a second, it really looks like I upped the speed to 1.5, but I didn't. It is AMAZING (and of course you'll see it in the complete match that I'll post in a few hours).

@sdede,

Just a suggestion, why don't you encode your videos to xvid/avi or h264/mkv instead? I can assure you that there wouldn't be any loss in video quatlity.

In general, when encoding a 640x480 video using xvid or h264, a bitrate of 1500kbps is more than enough. I don't know what video source (video feed) you were using, but judging from the video quality, I say you had either resize and enlarge your videos, or had chosen a very bad program to encode your files.

BTW, yours the only thread I downloaded from, because I don't understand any other language besides English.
