Oh you make me so mad!!!!

:fistintheair:
So last Wed or Thurs, some cat woman from the 3rd floor took a LARGE bag of cat litter to the dumpster, but managed to leave a clump of cat s**t and litter on every step down, across the courtyard and to the dumpster. I fired the first salvo, pretty reasonable request that whomever is responsible ought go clean it up.
Then we get bombarded by the deniers, one of which, obviously, is feigning outrage. Reasonable Bab? Forgetaboutit.

Now I'm on a witch hunt.
I start the process of elimination, sending email and making phone calls for two days to sniff out the scoundrel. It turns out only two women on the 3rd floor have cats; someone else on the 3rd floor even said the trail appears (not definitive evidence) to have started at a particular unit. Of course, for whatever reason, no one on the 3rd floor wants to confront one another. But that won't stop them from b**ching about how disgusting it is. Not so interestingly or surprisingly, all four (yep, 4) units on the 3rd floor are occupied by women.
At this point, you're probably wondering, "Bab, why did you get involved?" Some men here might already have figured it out.
So 3 days pass; 3 days of me prodding the women upstairs, 3 days of them denying, and 3 days of everyone looking at and tip-toeing around the mess. If you think one of the women would volunteer to do the clean up, your sadly mistaken. I, alone, got out a shovel and a broom from the basement, and dragged a hose four flights up the stairs in the cold and sleet, and proceeded down, down the 3 flights of stairs, across the courtyard, and all the way to the dumpster. 2 hours.
When I finished, I started hammering

on the women for not even volunteering to help. 3 days and not one of them flinched! One owner said her neighbor was "hurt" by the accusations. I later heard from the woman whose feelings got hurt. She said something lame about she knows that I don't believe her but she's not going to defend herself any more.
