Yeah I'd definitely say that as the league expands you'll definitely see more divisions in the levels of teams. But right now there really doesn't seem a whole lot between the majority of teams. Just look at how quickly New York have turned things around after a disaster season last year!

San Jose Earthquakes were one of my favorite NASL teams (them and the Oakland Stompers  :)  from my childhood. I still have a rooting interest in them, so I hope they pull it off.

you didn't have enough with the Hawks and Giants wining the stanley cup and the world series!!  :))
I prefer FC Dallas to win the title because they have the most european name of all the clubs, FC and then no nickname! but a Pizza Hut Stadium!  I do like a lot the fans of the nhl club in San Jose. Interesting about Oakland because there's not a club in Sanfran or Oakland.
do you know why the club in Chicago is nicknamed Fire? I am a fan of them.  :)

Yes, the Fire are my favorite MLS team, but I still have old feelings for my homies in San Jose.  :)

One of the stars on the City of Chicago flag represents The Great Chicago Fire of 1871.  :)

Colarado in the Final with a 1-0 win over San Jose last night.

Tonight its LA's turn at home to FC Dallas, so hoping Becks can get through to the Final with the Galaxy and win another League title :)

Babble do you know why they have 2 legs in the 1st round of the playoffs here, but then in the Conference Finals its just the 1 game?

Good question. Don't know why. You'd think it would help the better teams, and probably over the long term it does. But these last 3 years have been whacky.

Last night's game was really good. San Jose have Giovanni and Eduardo (Brazil, not the former Gunner).

Yeah little bit strange how its just 2 games the first round, it definitely should help the better games going over 2 games compared to just a 1 off game.

MLS is definitely attracting more and more former top players within Europe, didn't know they both played over there as well.

2-0 now Dallas. They are a very fast team, but that was a bad goal. Shouldn't have gone through.

LA has had some good looks, but Hartman has made a few great saves.

Dallas is a big favorite. Although they are short, they are definitely the quicker and more dangerous team whereas Colorado is the taller, more physical team. Colorado could steal this one with a fortuitous corner kick.

IMO this will favor Colorado, the team that relies on its physical play and height. I can't see this helping the smaller, quicker team. It should slow them down.

Any thoughts about how the weather will affect teams, Chris?
