Sounds like a reslly good match Babble and I'd say the right scoreline for me :) Shame to hear though about a broken ankle :(

Yeah I remember Ljungbberg went out to the USA for a couple of years too and then ended up at Celtic, wow I know where I'd rather play, in America or in Scotland? :rofl_2:

Before the match last night Becks was involved in a car accident but thankfull suffered no injuries :PHEW:)

the current european and world champion playing tomorrow in Boston and not even the Globe doing an article.

then, there's no need to remember that USA broke Spain's 35 unbeatean streak in 2009.

fans and atmosphere in Boston is awesome! just incredibly perfect! 60,000 fans, full house!
the americans soccer fans deserve a lot more!!!

the defense of the USA has been terrible crap, so sad, almost like mothers and only 1 shot on goal.
Spain 3 goals in 10 minutes in the 1st half, Cazorla twice and Negredo. The depth of Spain is incredible.
the "revenge" of what happened in S.Africa.

2nd half, mastering of ball possession, control from Spain, 4th goal, Torres. great display overall, not pushing too much against a very weak defense. USA, too much innocence in attack, 3-4 shots on goal, not a single occasion, no ideas, no need of a goalie. very disappointing in defense-midfield-attack.

Wonderful ovation to Casillas as he entered to play his 118th match for La Roja, just 10 years and 1 day of his debut in Goteborg.

final score: USA 0 - 4 Spain. Huge standing ovation to the current world and european champs in Boston.

Hey Babble, first the only important thing I am very happy for you about your new job, I think it's a very touching and interesting job and you will do very well. Congrats.

I am not posting too much lately, too much work and then when I come here some posters/discussions drive me out. fanboys goats... and then almost like since the day when I joined in, it has never been easy to be a Rafa fan here.
