"But what if I NEED it later!"
« on: April 12, 2010, 07:27:37 AM »
Ever said this to yourself when looking at something or a pile of somethings in your house/apt/closet?  Ugh, I say it every time I look at this particular shelf in our basement. It's piled with stuff (cookware, old baskets, roaster pan, old plastic flowers, knick knacks that were given to us, etc.) that I haven't really used in ten years, but every now and again I'll go at it as if I'm really going to purge the stuff and inevitably put it all back.  And if "I" won't need it, maybe someone else will and just as soon as I throw or give it away I'll need it.  Right?

Wondering...what do YOU have that sits around collecting dust that you just can't let yourself throw away?

Nah, that is a genuine wifey post. : )

I have often thought about getting rid of the kids but then I remember I will need someone to take care of me down the road. : )
Good Luck on the Court!!!

OH YES I DO!   :;:-|

Since I ran out of storage space for my tennis VCR tapes, I've gone cold turkey. I mean, I've got a whole closet of tapes that I will never watch... maybe (pfft, I only watch the 2004 RG Final). The last match I taped was the 2009 USO. :PHEW:)

Thank god articles can be bookmarked, because I still bookmark about everything I read just in case!

My oldest reads "Jim Courier, 1993 Australian Open"

I am the girl who is always out with the old, in with the new. Gotta have place for new stuff. Come on people, we even get rid of our old skin every year or so. So anyway, basically I don't keep things I don't need. If I didn't use them in the last year or so, then chances are, I will never use them again. And the fact that, they are taking an awful amount of space is always an annoying factor for me. I am exactly the opposite that of a Hoarder. Having said that, I still have some things I don't need at all. More importantly, I have absolutely no recollection as to how I got them in the first place. So I guess that's why I haven't thrown them out....yet. Must solve the mystery first.
You are everything I am not.
