Yeah Kidd's steal with 6.2 seconds left it set up for your Mavs to at least take it to OT but then that happened with Dirk!

Spurs got the better of Chicago 103-94 for their 8th straight win.

New York Knicks got a much needed win in Sacramento

Timberwolves leave the Clippers with still just 1 win this season after a 2 point defeat of them, Utah won at home vs the Nets while the Thunder comfortably saw off Houston.

Perfect road swing that was as the Lakers head back to LA with 3 out of 3 and to 11-2 for the season A real good beating again as well this time for the Timberwolves as the Lakers ran out 112-95 winners. Fantastic performance off the bench it was for Matt Barnes who top scored with 24 points as well as coming up with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Were able to rest the starters for good parts again as Kobe cameup with 23 points and 8 rebounds, while Pau, Odom, Fisher and off the bench Brown had real good numbers too. Most impressive thing was just over a week after Kevin Loves 30/30 game the Lakers had all the answers to him anddidn't give him a thing as in 34 minutes of basketball his stats read 0 points, 7 rebounds. Fantastic by the Lakers and back home now for 2 games vs the Warriors first Sunday night and then Chicago mid week

Other results then and a few surprises I must say:

The Thunder going to Boston and coming away with an 89-84 win!

Chicago winning in Dalls also by 5 points 88-83!

The Knicks got a good win in a very high scorer at Golden State 125-119

Miami had to hold off a late fightback at home to the Bobcats for a 95-87 win

Washington edged Memphis by 3 points, 76ers beat Milwaukee by 11, Tornto had too much for Houston, New Orleans beat Cleveland by 7 at home, the Spurs kept their great run going by beating the Jazz in Utah by 12! Sacramento took a 86-81 home win over New Jersey.

What's most impressive is that they did it without Durant. The Thunder are recovering well after a slow start and Westbrook is on his way to become All Star for the first time. I also like Ibaka, he helps the team in many ways. Hope he has the Spanish nationality soon, he has expressed his wishes of being part of our national team and would be a great incorporation.

Yeah to have Kevin Durant out as well after failing his late fitness test as well as another of their starters but still to come away with the win in Boston was 1 of the best results for any team this season. Durant has the best points per game average of anybody so far this year and the other hugely impressive thing was that 4th the Thunder went like 2 out of 19 in FG's yet still managed to get the win. I agree Westbrook is looking great this season and with Durant is 1 of the best partnerships in the league right now. Ibaka looks a good player as well and is giving that team something else so for your country that would be a big coup if he does get Spanish nationality.

What an absolutely fantastic ending in Memphis that was after losing 5 straight games they go and beat the Heat to give them their 5th loss already with a game winner from Gay to give the Grizzlies a 97-95 win!!

Wow Pheonix really are nothing at all without Nash are they after another big defeat this time to the Bobcats by 18!

The Mavs got back on track after Friday night with a 98-93 win over the falling Atlanta Hawks.

Orlando took a big win away in Indiana 90-86 to keep pace with Boston in that Eastern Conference.

Back to back wins on consecutive nights for the Thunder as they edge past Milwaukee by just a point!

The Spurs continuing to look a top 6 team in the whole league as they took Cleveland apart in San Antonio 116-92 to move to their 10th straight win.

Denver edged by the Nets at home by 4 points.

Utah continue to play great basketball away from home with a very good road win in Portland 103-94.

Back to back road wins too for the Knicks as they beat the Clippers in another high scoring game like the Knicks previous night 124-115.

Lakers back to Staples Center tonight for the visit of the Golden State Warriors for the 2nd time already this season

That was an amazing game and a terrific last couple of minutes between Boston and Toronto in Canada as the Raptors take a fantastic 102-101 win over the Celtics!! Boston started much the better and led by 13 but Toronto responded brilliantly and at 1 point led by 12 but Boston came back led by 5 with 2 minutes to go but then Toronto got within 1 with 18 seconds to go, Ray Allen had the ball Toronto went to foul him but stole the ball and then got fouled as they went for the basket. The Raptors made both to leave 2.7 on the clock with the Raptors up by 1, after the timeout the ball went to Pierce who went for the game winner but missed to send the Toronto crowd wild. Brilliant game, so much fight and great play from Toronto and 2 straight defeats for Boston!

I'm not worried about Boston or the Lakers, they know how to conserve themselves through the season, they'll be alright.
How about those Spurs though!

Lakers absolutely crushing the Warriors for the 2nd time this season with a 117-89 win over them Move to 12-2 and set up perfectly now for the big visit of the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night! Pau was sensational as he didn't miss a shot all night and finished with 28 points and 9 rebounds, Kobe had 20 points, Odom had 15 points as well as 10 rebounds while off the bench Brown was terrific once again with 17 points. Good that once again the Lakers could rest their starters for large parts of the game especially 2nd half. Now to the Chicago game Tuesday night

WOW huge shock last night to see Miami go down so easily at home to Indiana 77-93!! Indiana played great basketball but man are Miami really struggling with things right now and looking a little lost at times. Also as we all knew with the big signings the depth just doesn't seem to be there and if the big 2 and a half don't have outstanding games there's not much fall back.

Spurs kept their really good winning run going by beating another excellent team in Orlando 106-97

Boston got back to winning ways in Atlanta with a very easy 99-76 victory.

Oklahoma won at home to Minnesota 117-107, Pheonix got back to winning ways in Houston 123-116, Utah beat Sacramento 94-83, Denver went to Golden State and put a big win on them 106-89, while there was an excellent and much needed win for the Clippers over the previously beaten just once New Orleans 99-95.

Lakers get the win over the really good looking Chicago Bulls 98-91 to move to 13-2 for the season Lakers now won 5 straight for the season and 7th consecutive win over the Bulls this is. Was a very tight game right throughout with the defining few moments being in the 4th quarter where the Lakers hit 4 straight 3 pointers all from the bench(2 Blake, 1 Brown, 1 Barnes) to go from being tied to being up by 12. Huge couple of minutes this was and fantastic shooting there. The Bulls are going to do very well this year with the team they have and still having Boozer to come back in. Rose, Noah and Gibson in particular look like they'll take some stopping and add Boozer to that and strong players elsewhere and you have a very dangerous team. For the Lakers Brown again was huge off the bench coming up with 21 points, Odom had 21 points as well as 8 rebounds, Kobe came up with 20 points, and not as good a day for Pau today shooting wise as he went 3/10 after his heroics the other night but still had 12 points and 11 rebounds. At 1 stage it looked the huge number of offensive rebounds the Bulls were getting would cost the Lakers big time but that wasn't enough as the Lakers move on and next go to Utah Friday night

Nice win for the Mavs away in Oklahoma City.

Chicago went to Pheonix and won there for the 4th time in their last 5 visits.

The Spurs kept their winning run up with an overtime win in Minnesota.
