Absolutely brilliant from the Lakers on a record breaking night as at home they take a 112-57 win over the Cavs!!

a 55 point win! and that 57 Cleveland got is an all time low against the Lakers so Lakers set a new franchise record last night. And the starters only had around 22-30 minutes and 7 players reached double figures.

My Cavs are sad <duh>.

I watched a lot of that game and it looked like the pros against a jr high team.

Yeah as this one was going on I was thinking about you Jamesdster and what you must have thought of it. It really was like pro's vs a junior team but the Lakers D has stepped up big time these past 4 or 5 games and that was a big result of it last night. That's the way the Lakers have to play defensively to win another Championship. Also be brilliant if the Lakers came out with that desire, motivation and intensity every game, thats what they need consistently. For the Cavs its just a season to ensure they don't end up with the worst record in the NBA I would say looking at how things are shaping up.

That was an awesome 4th quarter for the Lakers with 46 points to earn a 115-110 win in Golden State

6 straight wins now for the Lakers and 39 points for Kobe in the game, while Pau and Bynum had double doubles and from the bench Lamar was a rebound away from another double double.

Dallas lost again this time away at Indiana so they let go that number 2 spot to the Lakers right now, but the Spurs won again $:\$ but there was an excellent result in LA as the Clippers ended the Heat's win streak with a 6 point victory!

Good to see the lakers turn things around.
And those Spurs are the real deal.

Nice run this the Lakers are putting together with a 7th straight win last night

and complete ownership of 2nd spot in the West currently. 100-88 over the Nets to complete that series 2-0.

Next 5 games I'll not be here for so GO LAKERS 'away' at the Clippers, home to the Thunder away at Dallas and Denver and at home to Utah

YES!!!! Dallas broke a 6 game losing streak by beating the Lakers at home 109-100. Kidd scored 0 points in his last game, but he was on FIRE tonight scoring 21 points. Bench players Terry and Marion EACH scored 22 points while Dirk only had 11.

I was weirdly optimistic going into this game, and I'm thrilled the boys delivered!

Away games in Chicago and Jersey and then 4 straight home games.

Go Mavs!

Lakers with a really good crushing of the Jazz to go 3-2 during the period I was away after the defeat to the Clippers and the Mavs. Next for the Kings and then the big 1 vs the Celtics!

What a really poor loss that was last night for the Lakers at home to the Kings 95-100

$:\$ not the way you want to head into a show down of last years NBA Finals come Sunday night, although Boston lost heavily last night.

I keep forgetting that I'm going to see the Lakers this Saturday night against the Hornets! Can't wait!

Dallas goes for 5 consecutive wins tonight against the Wizards, hopefully they'll make it. Then they have a 3 game road trip in NYC, Boston and Charlotte.

Thankfully the Lakers got it done in OT at home to Houston to come through with a 114-106 win

Kobe with 32 points and big nights too for Lamar with 20 points and 20 rebounds! and Pau with 26 pointsand 16 rebounds. Bynum was out with a bruised knee and its hoped he'll be back for the Spurs showdown on Thursday!

Spurs last night lost away to Portland, so the Lakers at least gained a game on them and with Thursday nights showdown to come hopefully it'll be another game closer to them after that

What crap!! Lakers were leading by 1 with 5 seconds to go, Spurs with the ball Duncan shoots, missing but McDyess tips the damn ball in from the rebound as time expired!! 89-88 Spurs

It was certainly an exciting game especially in that 3rd and for much of the 4th and 2 really big games from Kobe and Pau and thankfully a Lakers win 101-95

First road game done now 6 more to go on this streak.
