I had a fantastic time, especially with Pau scoring 34 points!! I wore his jersey and got "it" almost right away. The Hornets mascot, Hugo, saw me, looked me up and down and stuck his singer out at me.

Walking down the corridor looking for the bathroom, some guy yelled, "You're pulling for the wrong team!". And then at the concessions stand, the guy almost didn't want to serve me.

But I had a great time, especially when the Hornets had a comeback and the game got more interesting. Got to see Mr. CP3 play well also. Good game.

Going in March to see the Mavs, and I'm going to wear my Dirk jersey too.

BTW, after winning 8 straight (the longer winning streak in the NBA currently

) are now #2 in the West. Go Mavs! Go Dirk!

I'm glad you had such a great time Dani, and that's too funny how they really disapproved of you wearing your Pau jersey there

Pau had a fantastic game, coming up with a season high while you were there is pretty ironic

That comeback they made must have had that record crowd rocking big time because it was a terrific atmosphere just watching it on the computer and being there is always so many more times better. Cool you get to go in March too and be wearing the Dirk jersey but if the Spurs insist on staying number 1, then the Mavs will have to settled for 3rd come April I say

On this 7 game road trip Lakers have started it well by getting win 2 out of 2 last night in Memphis 93-84

It was a real balanced attack and team performance with 6 players in double figures and when you see the Lakers play like that its so easy to see why its back to back champions and why there's no reason that can't become triple champions. Its off to Boston now before the next night going to New York

There's been a lot of talk the last few hours that the Lakers may be in for a trade for Carmelo Anthony and trade Bynum to the Nuggets. Man if that trade were to go through yes the Lakers would be a little smaller but the amount of points we'd put on people and the trio of Kobe, Pau and Melo with the players around them too would be almost unstoppable as far as I'm concerned. May not happen but this would be huge if it does. I definitely see the Lakers making a trade before the deadline.

Excellent performance from the Lakers away at the Celtics to come away with a 92-86 win

Lakers were down 15 points as well at 1 point in the 1st half but such an impressive all around performance got the Lakers back in and then the 2nd half performance and the closure was as good as anything the Lakers have done this season. A big time win in a big time game, that's what the Lakers are all about

No rest though as its straight to New York now for the Knicks in less than 24 hours

3-0 on this road trip with 4 more to come.

OMG, I want to cry.

The Mavs played such an up and down game tonight in Denver. Denver was up as much as 18 in the first half before the Mavs game storming back and lef by as much as 11 in the 4th quarter. I don't know what happened, but the Nuggets evened the score by the last minute and took the lead by 1 point. With about 16 seconds to go, Dirk got fouled by Carmelo (who fouled out) but made just 1 FT. That came back to haunt him as Affalo hit a buzzer beater and the Mavs 10 game win streak came to an end: 121-120.

The bench played so well too: Terry: 25; Marion: 19; Barea: 15, with the starters doing well too: Dirk: 16; Kidd: 10; Chandler: 20. Just two more points, and they'd have won.

Ah well, they should pick up wins away in Houston, home against Sacramento, and away at Phoenix before the All-Starts weekend. Come on Mavs!

A fantastic performance from the Lakers to back up the big win in Boston as the Lakers come right back and beat up on the Knicks 113-96 at MSG

The Lakers just putting on an absolute show in New York, again great all around, led by Kobe who only needed 3 quarters for 33 points. Knicks came out fired up, crowd were fired up but the Lakers shot all that down and cruised through the evening to go to 4-0 on this road trip now and next its to Orlando to face the Magic Sunday afternoon

I thought we had that game after getting down early - then coming back. But I guess we can't win them all.

Great first game of the double header as the Celtics beat the Heat for the 3rd time this season with a 85-82 win in Boston to go back to the top of the East standings!

Now its my Lakers away at Orlando looking to go 5-0 on this road trip with 2 more to go after this one

After some really good performances of late that was a very disappointing performance from the Lakers tonight in Orlando going down 75-89

The outside game wasn't working at all as other than some Kobe FG's there was no real production outside the paint. At halftime it was just a 4 point game, so 2nd half was a nightmare! Orlando are so hot from 3 point distance and Lakers couldn't stop that either tonight, while Dwight Howard had a huge game. From start to finish really Lakers couldn't get anything going and need to change that quickly as its straight to Charlotte now for the game with the Bobcats tomorrow night

Another rotten night for the Lakers

This time in Charlotte as the Bobcats streaked away to a 20 point win 109-89 to ensure LA slip to 2 straight defeats. Against such a lackluster performance all around, and very strange after looking so good vs Boston, NY, Memphis and New Orleans. Last gmae of the road trip and before the All Star break it is on Wednesday night and thats away at Cleveland and a defeat there and I won't know what to say!

Things can't get a whole lot worse right now as the Lakers are unbelievably beaten to the Cavaliers the team with the worst record in the league who had lost like 27 of their last 28 games 99-104

Lakers need to sort this ship out now and for me to get back in the Championship hunt a big time trade is needed otherwise I'm not sure this Lakers team is getting back to the NBA Finals this season

West taking the win over the East by 5 points in the All Star game in LA

and best of all Kobe putting on a real show with 37 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals to take home the MVP award

his 4th of his career to equal the all time record!

As it looked more and more likely these past few days Carmelo has gone to the Knicks. Wow the stars are all placing themselves in the biggest cities/markets in the USA it seems. Knicks have given up some big players for them this season though so they better hope Carmelo and Stoudermire work well together!
