I have definitely done some unorthodox picking, but I think that Hewitt, Verdasco, Melzer and Monfils are players a little under the radar that are going to mess up the rest of the draw. However, the Top 4 players in the world will stop each of them in the quarterfinals. I hope my picks go good, and good luck to everyone else. Expect to see some unexpected surprises this Australian Open, Hewitt thriving on home turf, and possibly Melzer pulling up another great Grand Slam result.

The other three wouldn't surprise me at all. I have both Verdasco and Monfils in my quarters. I have Bags in the Melzer spot, but Melzer reaching 4R wouldn't surprise me, either. Hewitt. I don't have Hewitt out of 1R. lol Looks like you have him knocking off both Nalbandian and Ferrer. That is a lot of damage in that one pick alone. My trouble makers are Harrison (knocking out Berdych) and Tsonga (knocking out Soderling).
