Ryan Leaf put up some serious numbers in his first 3 games. Let's hope Cam doesn't let one game go to his head.

Neither QB played against teams with actual defenses. Wasn't the Giants searching the waivers for a CB after all their starters were injured in the preseason games?
The Cardinals traded away their only corner for Kolb.



Eagles may have one by a lot but that was pure deception. St. Louis was gashing through the defense at times by their receivers can't catch worth a damn. The Eagles are going to have to trade Asante for a SS or a MLB.

Jay Cutler is not going to have a long career, and it's not his fault. I'm glad he got paid. He's been in two of the worst offensive schemes under the Bears that any quarterback could find himself in. He's just getting battered again, and he was sacked 5 times last week in a romp.

Despite a complete break down that resulted in a 74 yard bomb, the Bears defense kept them in the game in the first half 16-13 HT. But the Saints's defense is T-ing off on Cutler now. Just one unblocked player after another. The defense has been on the field most of the day. Not a formula to win in this league.

That's Mike Martz for you. When he was in St. Louis with the "Greatest Show on Turf", people forget that the Oline had been built before he took over as coordinator.
