and general alex you go buy a bottle of scotch. 12 year old and single malt.
Djokovic, Nadal, Federer and Murray
.
as for a bottle of scotch, we'll see... you and shank have been driving me crazy lately (I still love you both
... maybe you should get a bottle of grey goose for me
. We are officially in war right now, and General Alex will def. General Herc and General Shank

Since it looks like General Herc and Shankar are on one side of the net, I'll offer to be on General Alex's side for the doubles championship

thanks MS. I need some help because gen. Shank and gen. Herc are too stubborn
. It's so good to see you posting here. this board is so much more civil than MTF. stay with us, you are a very intelligent guy.
Thanks for the kind words, Mr. Alex

I'll see what I can do to even things out a bit

All kidding aside, I think it is all good to have various reasonable opinions present. It would be pretty boring if everyone thought alike

. Here's a Monte-Carlo question:
I'm curious as to what importance you think this tournament will have on the rest of the clay season with particular respect to Mr. Djokovic and Mr. Nadal on the presumption they will meet in the final. Take the following results and then give your opinions of the affect on each player:
1. Nadal beats Djokovic.
2. Djokovic beats Nadal.
For example:
1. Nadal beats Djokovic.
N. Nadal will gain some confidence back on his best surface and be happy to defend his title, his eight straight. Still, he won't be entirely satisfied, as he is almost expected to win here. He'll be far happier with a Rome win.
D. Djokovic will still have confidence having taken Nadal to 3 sets on his best surface and at one of his best tournaments. Even getting to the finals shows he is playing well, and encourages him for the rest of the clay season.
2. Djokovic beats Nadal.
N. Nadal will have to question himself after an 8th straight loss to Djokovic, especially at a tournament where he has been so dominant in winning 7 straight titles. He'll be wondering what he can do to regroup and overcome Djokovic. Will it affect him negatively the rest of the clay season, or it will embarrass him enought to motivate him to work harder and forget about all the extracurricular activities?
D. Djokovic will be in heaven. He will be so pumped, that the next time they play, he'll beat Nadal even easier. If the next time is in Rome and Djokovic wins there, he'll have to be thinking his chances are great at Roland Garros, especially if Federer is not in his half of the draw.
Please discuss...

Respectfully,
