Interesting first few rounds from Fed.  If he gets past Ivo then he will had one regular match, one default and then Ivo.  Bad warm up for a tourney you want to work on improving each match.  And right now it looks like he is doing a lot of mis-firing from the baseline.  Not looking good for him right now.
Good Luck on the Court!!!

Probably a safe bet.  I am headed to bed.  If I wake up and Fed lost the last 3 sets 6-7 then so be it...
Good Luck on the Court!!!

I guess next round will make some troubles to him. It can be either Bernard Tomic or Alexandr Dolgopolov.  ://
Both of these guys have shot, but they also have their own major weakness.

I'm happy that Roger won!!!! (sorry Stan lost) but still happy about Roger. I thought he was going to lose that first set but he came through. 55 winners to 13 errors. Now I rest to see who will be next!

dolgopolov unleashing his repertoire.......tomic just does not know how to deal with him at the moment.......tomic lead 4-2 40-15 and dolgopolov just steamrolled him from there to take the first set 6-4.......i just wish dolgo was a little more consistent, with his type of game he can really be a dangerous threat to top players.......

i demand french open to be renamed RAFAEL GARROS

The score was 6-4, but Dolgopolov really frustrated Tomic. They play similar games, but Dolgie does everything better. Tomic likes go for his shot after he's dictated the point with a string of off paced slice. But Dolgo is able to match him slice for slice and always prepared to fire first. Also noticed that Tomic's second serve is so weak that Dolgo moves well inside the baseline to return it. That set was never in doubt. Tomic isn't going to get to any dropshots, either. Not sure he's going to be more than a slam semifinalist rather than a certain future slam winner.

I don't understand why Del Potro alway stands 3-4 metres behind the baseline?

It will be the problem if oppoent has ability to serve out wide slice serve and flat serve to the T. It is type of combination is using angle rather than speed. It will make Del Potro very difficulty to make effective return.

It is riduclous to see poor quality empire is doing some bad work at AO. Tomic rose his hand for challenge and empire missed that challenge. Dolgopolov saw that so he stopped playing. And, Dolgopolov lost that point because empire didn't see Tomic wanted to challenge.

So Del Potro is in the 4th round. Tomic versus Federer in the 4th round.
