Verdasco tatic is good at the moment, he is sing out wide serve and slice serve to take Tomic out of his comfort zone and moving Tomic side by side.

Verdasco back on serve in his match.  Berdych down 1-3 after winning the first set 7-5; Del Po gets broken then breaks right back.  Weird matches going on right now!

If Tomic does not change the way he serves, then au revoir to expectations. He just seems to be riding the ball in there.

Tomic is to passive.  He needs to be a little more aggressive.

I totally agree. He played much more agreesive at Kooyong.
Maybe he should have talk with Hewitt. Hewitt always play under condition is not favour for him, he is mental tough player!

The different between this match and the matches Tomic played at Kooyong is that Verdasco does not attempt to hit big winners if it is not right moment. He at least play 7-8 simple shot before he goes for big shot. Tomic has ability to make his opponent go too much. It is what happen at Kooyong. Verdasco is different in this match. He is patience and stick with his tactic in whole match.

So Tomic should be more aggressive.

I'm shutting down my computer for the night, but I'm going to stay up through Roger's match.

Berdych in a dog-fight 1 set all!

I'll check periodically on my phone to see if you guys are talking about anything 'good" later tonight. :rofl_2:

Tomic is down by 0-2. I think Tomic is too passive in this match. Verdasco does the good job!
