We haven't had rain for about 10 days now and this is sucking. My grass needs watered every night and it still looks like crapola. I need someone to send me some rain our way.

It of course rained 20 minutes north of us today, and it rained hard too.

If you will excuse me, I am going to go outside and do a rain dance.

I'll give you some rain. We havn't had a day this wek where it didn't rain here in Central Florida. But that is just typical summer down in Florida.

Shut the hell up about needing to water your grass, Scott. In my part of the country, we consider ourselves lucky to get 20 inches of moisture (that includes snow melt) a year. AND it's supposed to be in the way upper 90s all next week. I've about decided the damn yard can die. I'm on a big lot but figure it costs me at least $40 everytime I run my sprinkler system (which I should be running every night with this heat but not gonna do it). So shut the whining!

lol @ CGW. Our yard is only a 1/4 acre so it is easy to set up a sprinkler in the front and get it to hit most of the grass. I do not worry too much about the year. Our water bills are usually not too bad, but this next one might be a bit high. Might get some rain the next few days. it has been a long time. Where you at CGW?

It's also very hot in Belgium. It's hot everywhere, also in Wimbledon. I cant sleep at night, and I'm sticky. Weatherforecast is good, with some rainclouds coming this way

Turns out Los Angeles almost had its most rainy season ever, according to the LA Times. The infamous 2004-05 rain season missed the record by 0.93 inches.

Same here. Everyday around 3 or 4. And then little bits of rain before. I was in a tennis camp and we got rained on constantly. And then the humidity after the rain. You have to chew the air. I hate freaking Florida. But its all good its fun to jump in puddles and dance in rain.

We finally got our rain, it rained 2 days in a row, we could use some more, but we are a lot better off right now than we were.

The weather's screwed up in England at the moment. Baking one minute, pouring the next. We had an amazing thunderstorm last week though, sheet and fork lightening, thunder and torrential rain. Fun to watch from my nice warm flat, not so fun for the people scurrying about on the street!
