Let's say for argument Nadal wins a few more slams and Federer fails to win an addition one. Then people will be arguing for ages who is the real GOAT. Imagine if Roger had run away with the sport like Graf and won 18-20 slams already. Tennis would be boring and nobody would be arguing about anything. Also does Roger's VIP lifestyle get diminished from "disputed' GOAT-status one bit? No! Everything is fine and all this endless shouting matches between fandoms is hilarious.

Federer hasn't broken all the records. Maybe somebody like Wayne Gretzky is the only true GOAT of any sport considering the % of records he holds.

I have Fed as GOAT, no one else is close.
Some don't care about it but in other sports I follow it comes up all the time so it's a great subject.

Well, top 4 players at the moment are stronger than top 4 in Fed's prime, however everybody bellow top 4 today suck big time. Murray came in the AO semis having played dead-tired Nishikori, before that got a walkover, a 31 yrs old doubles specialist etc, that's a laughable draw.
