yeah...Federer will be playing the Davis cup against USA..

SWISS team ( probable): Federer, Wawrinka & maybe Marco Chiudinelli.. :)
USA ( Confirmed) : Mardy Fish, John Isner, Mike Bryan and Ryan Harrison. ( Bob Bryan will not play as his wife just had a baby :// ...NO Andy Roddick due to  his injury in Australia... even Ryan Harrison is unlikely to play. Mardy and John are the singles guys and it’s most likely Mardy and Mike in the doubles, although it depends a lot on how the Singles rubbers go..:)

Fish  :worthy: :yahoo: I though he really lose this match when he had to save two break points in last game, great work but quality of the match was a bad one  :whistle:

Now Federer will beat easily Isner and I don't see they would lose this tie. He beats easily Fish as well , doubles match is okay without Bob Bryan. And I'm not sure about Isner's chances against Wawi neither.

Okay, I was very wrong.  I'm very happy for Isner anyway, I'm his fan since a while, I really like him, has nice game (not only serve but perfect forehand and his volley is so good as well), has beautiful attitude and personality, deserved a very great win, recently he is playing in top form without doubt.
He doesn't have to defend lot of points since Newport, I think he can reach top 10 with it, if continues similar like this match.

Isner frequently used an insane kickserve against Federer's backhand (Federer had to jump to reach it).

I saw Fed make like Gasquet and retreat 10 feet behind the baseline to return the serve. Very funny.

this is probably not that surprising.......two reasons.......davis cup and selferer don't belong in the same line.......isner showed in the past that he can play on clay........

More importantly, the court was ridiculous and they couldn't play tennis,  which is why John dominated with his serve.

lack of time, and stadiums are full. We were not allowed to even see them hitting the balls. Might try my luck again tomorrow. Tsonga plays Raonic at 2pm local time tomorrow. I have totally missed this one.  :(
