Ranking 2012 onwards
« on: February 14, 2012, 10:04:57 AM »
As of today the ranking points are:

Djokovic 13630 pts
Nadal 10435 pts
Federer 8010 pts
Andy 6900 pts

Taking away all the points till the end of Miami:

Djokovic 11130 pts (playing Dubai, Miami, IW)
Nadal 9195 pts (playing Miami IW)
Federer 6990 pts (playing DC, Rotterdam, Dubai, IW, Miami)
Andy 6880 pts* (playing Dubai, IW, Miami)

*Depending on when ATP will implement the new rule about 500/250/equivalent tournaments, Andy could count 250 points more.

I'm perfectly happy how things are going right now. I've been a Nole fan since 2006. all my dreams came through... Nole was struggling at the time but hey, he is the best player in the world... DEAL WITH IT b**chES, lol.

All these players have a lot to loose either way of a lost or a win in the grand slam events.  Murray if he can win Wimbledon and the rest of the three loose in early rounds could be number 2 in the world afterwards.

Well, Djokovic has to defend 5 Master titles, and 2 Grand Slam titles.
He's is going to lose points this year I predict, especially given the fact that the Doomsday Stroking Machine From Hell will be inhuman on clay this year.

Federer is going to loose points especially in the end of the year. If he again disappoints on grass he will probably drop in the rankings.

Murray could probably gain some points throughout the year if he continues his good form.

1. Nadal
2. Djokovic
3. Murray
4. Del Potro
5. Federer

 :))

1. Nadal
2. Djokovic
3. Murray
4. Del Potro
5. Federer

I think Nadal made some progress against Nole in the AO final.

He also did reasonably well against the rest of the field. ;-()

Still some work to be done.
Yet clay is his home court and should work to his advantage.
We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Djokovic has a good chance to stay number one.
Nadal will have his chances too, he fought very hard at the AO and expect him to protect his clay.

Murray might have some say in the matter, Lendl is working on his mental part and it showed at the AO.

Recently DelPo said he can be better than Djokovic, at least that's what I heard. A pretty big stetement and out of character for him. We'll see about that.

This is one of the reasons the AO is interesting, it sets the tone for the year.

Perhaps DPot should change his nickname from Tower of Tandil to Testicles of Tandil.

He'll either be backing that up or eating a crate full of crow.
