So far I see Del Potro pick up his serve. His 1st serve speed is increased. I am not sure it is because the ball or the court. It looks like his serve is back to 2009 level.

I still believe the only way Del Potro can back top 5 is to improve variety of his game. He should continue trying volley, then he able to do it.
1.coming the net at right time
2.using his big serve more as advantage to come to net
3.improving his movement.

Well done Federer.

Murray's attitude was pretty bad. What a pity!

Federer in very good form, winning 5 out of 6 tournaments ATP tournaments entered since the USO 2011.

I'm happy! Rogers's 72nd tournament! I'm happy with his form right now. I was reading the tennis blogs and a lot, if not most, experts had picked Murray to win. I'm glad they were wrong.

Sid, congrats to your boy for making the Dubai final for the guest time!

Congrats to Roger fit winning this tournament for the 5th time.

Unfortunately, I didn't see the match. nice win for Fed, but I'm so disappointed with Andy. I really wanted him to win this tournament. Somehow, he manages to def. Nole (or Nole didn't really care, not sure) and then he fails in the final. I really start believing that Murray will win nothing this year. yeah, sure he wins some matches against top 3 guys but he simply fail when it matters.... driving me crazy.

Well some folks will call this an 'upset', but technically, Roger WAS/IS ranked higher than Murray, so the seeds held.

Dallas for sure. Kudos to Roger really. it's just that Andy at his age should be able beat 30 yo Fed (all respect to Fed). I actually respect Fed even more nowadays than before.

Well Andy is still relatively 'young' (compared to Fed) so he still has time to 'win' more and more..... At this stage in Roger's career - I'm just grateful for whatever he can win! :rofl_2:

Good win for Fed.
His game looked very crisp, excellent shotmaking and no letdowns against Murray.

72 titles. Fed's 72-30 in finals now with more to come.

Alex this is Rogers best surface,by that it doesn't get any quicker,it's like the USO for speed.I did not see the match v Nole, but Murray to make the final here,is much better than the last 2 years.Murray's been in 3 competitions this year & been in the final of them all, winning one,so hows that a let down.Lendl will be with him in USA & i think he will make a final of one of the 2 Masters.Congrats Dallas & Roger fans it's your day this time, lol till next time.

The shot at 4:46 from Fed was a superb shot.

I agree with Alex. Murray is just not consistent enough to beat all these guys when it really matters the most. Anyway, hope he learns.

Sid, it's a small tournament but Murray needs to learn how to win. again kudos to Fed, but Andy needs to wake up. he simply can not afford to lose like this. Fed is 30yo. Murray is moving better than Fed, but he still manages to screw it up... guess what, he will lose again and again against Nole, Rog and Rafa... it sucks... he might win some tournes here and there but ...
