I saw both of them at the Legg Mason last year and was impressed so I am not greatly surprised considering the mediocre turnout at Delray Beach.

Anderson was also at Cincy and played some nice matches there too. He is a tall guy with a monster serve but is also good at getting around the court.  He has probably learned a lot after he lost there to Gasquet who was obviously the more experienced player. http://www.tennis4you.com/forum/index.php?topic=15921.msg481220#msg481220

But you KNOW  the crowd wanted either Roddick or Isner in the final (or both)....no matter how "good" these 2 players are.

You could certainly sense this last night,  Dallas  . That SF was a battle of the big servers to see who would blink first but Anderson did cover the court better. Anderson has it all over Roddick if the latter is not in good form, which is rare these days.
