Nole won the match but he played utter sh!t. I don't know, he simply is not motivated against lower ranked players... it's beyond me why he plays so bad right now at first couple of rounds. this is like with Fed before... these guys simply give up even before the match started...

Harrison starts very poor, is brocken. His backhand is not good and causes him the first game.

Harrison's backhand always gives himself trouble. It is consistently too short and no angle. He better try to switch to single hand backhand if he continues having troubles with his backhand wing in following years.

Also one important thing is that improving his backhand will help him to prevent potential injure.

good win for young Harrison. I'm happy for him but also disappointed with GGL. mixed feelings. He takes down Murray and than loses to a youngster. so typical.

the courts are ridiculously slow, but they have always been like this.......only difference between these courts and the one at london wtf is the bounce......

Harrison vs. Simon should be a solid indicator of Harrison's level. As much as I love Simon and draw comparisons to Murray, he doesn't seem to be able to be more solid than he already is. Top 10-15 range seems to be his comfort zone and he's susceptible to normal losses again top 30 players. This is a match Ryan should be able to take. It'll test his consistency and patience, and his aggression and how well he balances those two because he'll need to do just that. And controlled aggression is where the game's at now.

if he plays a close match but loses, he's just showing good forward progress. If he doesn't even play a close match.. well, he needs time, he's no prodigy.
