Just too bad for Ana Ivanovic; I guess she had to retire against Maria Sharapova in the second set. Does anyone know why?

15  Ana Ivanovic      4  1

2Maria Sharapova    6   0

Anyways, it looks like Maria will face Victoria Azarenka again!

Ana had some pain in her hip and couldn't push off.
Her coach told her to quit if it hurt too bad, she tried a few more points and called it a day.

Just when I go to bat for her and somewhat defend the tour she goes and retires.
