Given that Andy is the 2nd best indoor player of this era and hasn't done anything of note at the WTFs so far, it would be fair to think that this might just be his year.

But I'll still go with Roger. 

Nole is probably the dark horse in this race; will be interesting to see if he remains fit till the end of the year or burns out like 2011.

Roger might well be the one to beat indoors,Murray after the USO is going to be on a high.Nadal,will he be ready or need time to get back on top of his best game?Djokovic will be looking to win & i would not put this past him.This is a real hard call who gets to be top dog in London.I would like it to be Murray but i've a gut feeling it might be Djokovic this time.

This post of yours made me smile, Clay Death not just because I like the reference to the "great Highlander" but your clarification as to who he is!   I must admit that I won't mind if Murray wins it. 

But I've marked Federer's card, and think he'll defend his title, all else being equal.  I'll be there & hope to see some great tennis!

I'll wait till the group "draw" to make a prediction. I want to see who qualifies and who is still standing by the Year End Championships (YEC).
The way the ATP scheduled the last few tourneys this year defies logic. It only pleased some players that wanted more of a break after YEC.  Scheduling the YEC the next day (Monday) after the Paris final on Sunday was ludicrous and they will have to play the final on Monday as well.
