Hmm.. Rafa would lose 240 points and Fed would gain 640 points, so Rafa would have 9935 points and Fed would have 9990

That is exciting, I actually want Fed to be in Rafa's half to make this happen! Djokovic will still be a long way ahead, as long as he makes the semis he'll have upwards of 12000 points.

This was unexpected, Fed came in under the radar.  :lol-cry:

not sure your list is right. I think Nole has something like 12000 something points or so because he didn't defend his title in IW. yes, I just checked it out, it is 12670. OK, I guess it's an older list

well, Djokovic is still a mile ahead of other guys, not a big deal. he's been #1 since June last year. I still can't believe it. It makes me really happy.  :)

Mardy Fish is the top ranked American at #8.  Isner #10....(2 Americans in the top 10 and neither is Roddick).  But truthfully, Fish is not playing like the #1 American right now.  We will see...

Isner looks to pass Fish, he has so much more upside and his ground game has improved in quality.

Honestly I don't care if Roger does or doesn't grab the #2 next week. I just want him to close the gap some more, keep the pressure on Nadal.
Then we will fight in the shade.

DelPo needs to get his forehand working.
Without that he'll hang around the top ten and will have a very hard time with any of the top 4.

Right now it's OK but it's not strong enough to get the ball by the top movers.

Isner kicked DelPo out of the top ten so maybe that'll light a fire under his rear.  :mad1:

true that.......his forehand needs to fire, there is really no other way for him.......it's a make or break shot for him.......

he turned into a defensive retriever in that match against fed in indian wells.......just no control on those forehands whenever he tried to accelerate........
